    The Supreme Court has designated seven former High Court judges as Senior Advocates.

    According to a notification issued on May 21, the decision was taken at a Full Court meeting held on May 20, where the Chief Justice of India and judges of the Supreme Court approved the designations with effect from May 20.

    The former judges designated as Senior Advocates are :

    Justice Babu K., former judge of the Kerala High Court;

    Justice Debabrata Dash, former judge of the Orissa High Court;

    Justice Khwairakpam Nobin Singh, former judge of the Manipur High Court;

    Justice Mahboob Ali, former judge of the Allahabad High Court;

    Justice N. Nagaresh, former judge of the Kerala High Court;

    Justice Shrikant Dattatraya Kulkarni, former judge of the Bombay High Court; and

    Justice V.G. Arun, former judge of the Kerala High Court.
