Justice Khanwilkar says that the matter cannot be kept pending long, and that the bench will hear it on merits tomorrow, if the Centre is not coming with a resolution by tomorrow.

ASG Raju says that the candidates who felt that they could not prepare well had the option of backing out, and such candidates were eligible for extra chance. He adds that petitioners are persons who chose to appear.
