#SupremeCourt asks Attorney General R Venkataramani's intervention in a plea challenging the manner in which 30% reservation for women in State Bar Councils are being implemented.

Earlier the Court had asked the AG to consider increasing the strength of SBCs could be applied across the country.

While Sr Adv Vikas Singh stated that if the AG decides in favour or against, the matter will still have to be decided by the Court. However, the Court disposed of the matter asking AG to consider the prayers.
