Justice Ujjal Bhuyan To Deliver 4th Justice G.P. Singh Memorial Lecture At NLIU Bhopal

The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal will organise the 4th Justice G.P. Singh Memorial Lecture on July 25, 2026, with Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, delivering the keynote address. The lecture will be held at the NLIU Convention Centre from 11:30 AM.
The annual memorial lecture has been instituted in honour of eminent jurist Justice G.P. Singh, whose contributions to Indian jurisprudence, particularly in the field of statutory interpretation, continue to be widely acknowledged. The event will be presided over by Justice Vishal Dhagat, Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court and Member of the General Council of NLIU, Bhopal, while Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Prakash, Vice-Chancellor of NLIU Bhopal, will deliver the welcome address.
According to the programme, the event will commence with a floral welcome to the dignitaries and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. This will be followed by the Vice-Chancellor's welcome address and the presidential address by Justice Vishal Dhagat. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan will then deliver the 4th Justice G.P. Singh Memorial Lecture. The programme will conclude with a vote of thanks by Sr. Prof. (Dr.) Ghayur Alam, Convener of the event.
