SCL India To Host 3rd International Conference On Construction Law & Arbitration In Mumbai On April 25

The Society of Construction Law–India (SCL-India) has a strong track record of hosting some of India's leading international conferences, consistently welcoming over 350 delegates at each biennial edition held in New Delhi in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025.

The 2017 conference featured 32 foreign speakers and 12 sitting judges, while in 2019 the number increased to 49 speakers, including 9 sitting judges and 31 foreign speakers. The 2021 edition, conducted virtually, hosted over 60 renowned speakers and around 400 global delegates. In 2023, the conference welcomed over 60 speakers, including more than 25 foreign speakers and three sitting foreign judges. The 2025 edition further expanded its scale, featuring over 55 speakers, including 26 foreign speakers and 7 sitting judges from India and abroad.

In addition, the Mumbai conferences in 2024 and 2025 each saw participation from over 35 Indian and foreign speakers and a delegate count close to 300, marking the city as a growing hub for construction law discourse.

Building on this legacy, created by the success of SCL India's previous international conferences, the 2026 Mumbai Conference aims to bring together leading experts in construction law and arbitration, along with key stakeholders and professionals from allied disciplines across the globe. As Mumbai and the western region continue to witness rapid infrastructure growth, the conference will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue, high-level panel discussions, and global networking opportunities.

Notably, sitting judges of the Bombay High Court, along with eminent international and domestic experts, are expected to be part of the conference.

The Organising Committee, led by SCL India's Founder & Chairman and Senior Advocate, Mr. Ratan K. Singh, has expressed its delight in welcoming all delegates and speakers to the conference in the financial capital of India, Mumbai.
