The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the Bureau of Immigration to inform Jai Anshul Ambani, son of industrialist Anil Ambani, whether any look out circular (LOC) is issued against him and is subsisting.

Justice Manoj Jain directed the authorities to send requisite communication to Ambani within three weeks.

The Court disposed of Anshul Ambani's plea seeking disclosure if any LOC is opened against him, contending that he has to travel abroad in some time.

The Central Govt Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, including Bureau of Immigration, said that they will consider Ambani's request and will send an intimation to him in a time bound manner.

As Ambani's counsel had no objection to the stand, the Court ordered:

“The petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to send the requisite communication about the above-said subject within three weeks.”
