A public interest litigation has been filed before the Delhi High Court seeking ground support and refund to passengers affected over the Indigo flight crisis.
The matter was mentioned today by a lawyer before a division bench comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela.
The counsel said that the situation at the airports is inhuman and that there was no refund to the passengers.
He said that the plea prays for appropriate orders to be passed to Indigo for providing ground support and refund to the passengers.
The Court agreed to list the matter on Wednesday, even though it remarked that the Government has already passed some directions on the issue.
"It will be listed on Wednesday,” the Bench said.
Many passengers are left stranded across several airports in the country, after many Indigo Flights abruptly cancelled their operations over last few days.
A similar petition was mentioned before the Supreme Court today. However, the Apex Court refused urgent listing observing that the Government of India has already taken cognizance of the issue.
