On 05 October, 2026 the Chief Justice of Kerala High Court, Justice Soumen Sen administered oath of office to the newly appointed Permanent Judges of the Kerala High Court -

(i) Justice P. Krishna Kumar,

(ii) Justice K.V. Jayakumar,

(iii) Justice Muralee Krishna S,

(iv) Justice Jobin Sebastian, and

(v) Justice P.V. Balakrishnan

The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on 23rd September 2026, had approved the proposal for their permanent appointment.
