Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Making Two Additional Judges Of Madras High Court Permanent

The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the appointment of Justice N Senthilkumar and Justice G Arul Murugan, Additional Judges of Madras High Court as permanent judges of the Madras High Court.

In its meeting held on September 15, 2025, the collegium recommended as under:

"The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 15th September, 2025 has approved the proposal for appointment of the following Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in the Madras High Court:

(i) Shri Justice N. Senthilkumar, and

(ii) Shri Justice G. Arul Murugan."

The two judges were appointed as Additional Judges of the Madras High Court in October 2023.
