National Law School of India University invites online applications for the post of Senior Research Associate to work for the Centre for the Study of the Legal Profession (Centre). This is a full-time role on a contractual basis at the NLSIU campus in Bengaluru. It is initially for a period of one year, further extendable subject to satisfactory performance and the Centre's requirements.

Essential Qualification and Experience
- Graduate degree in law;
- At least 5 years of post-qualification work experience.
- Desirable: (a) master's degree in law, (b) Prior experience in legal research or policy engagement, (c) Demonstrated research ability in a research or academic setting, including at least one publication or equivalent output; (d) Experience developing strategy documents, comparative research, or institutional research agendas; (e) Excellent writing and editing skills across academic, policy, and public-facing formats. Strong analytical, collation/synthesis, communication (written and oral), technical, and time-management skills; and (f) Self-driven and collaborative, with the ability to work independently.
