The National Investigation Agency invites applications for the post of Deputy Legal Adviser, Senior Public Prosecutor, and Public Prosecutor on a deputation (ISTC) / absorption basis.

Essential Qualification and Experience

Deputy Legal Adviser

• Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organization (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (ii) With five years’ service in the grade on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Scale of Pay Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department, and

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University;

• Ten years’ experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Senior Public Prosecutor

• Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organization:- (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or (ii) With five years’ service in the grade on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, and

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University;

• Eight years’ experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Public Prosecutor

• Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organization:- (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (ii) With two years’ service in the grade on regular basis in a post in Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of RS. 9300/- - 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department, and

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University;

• Five years’ experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.
