Department of Consumer Affairs invites online application for the post of Senior Young Professional on a contractual basis and providing technical, research, and analytical inputs in the fields of Consumer Protection (CPU), Legal Metrology (LM), and Price Monitoring (PMD), and various aspects associated with these subjects and other work areas as assigned from time to time-related to Department of Consumer Affairs.

Essential Qualification and Experience

Consumer Protection (CPU)

• LLM or LLB with 3 years experience and knowledge of computer, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint Presentations, Drafting of notices and replies, Knowledge of drafting Rules and Regulations, etc.

Legal Metrology (LM)

• LLM or LLB with 3 years experience and knowledge of computers, MS Office, Excel, Legal Data analysis, preparation of para-wise comment, filing of counter-affidavits, drafting of legal notices and its replies.

Price Monitoring (PMD)

• Master's degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Maths with specialization in data analytics, data management, data mining, or artificial intelligence and minimum 3 years of work experience in relevant field. The candidate should be well versed in using econometric tools in various statistical and econometrics software like R, Stata, reviews for data analysis. The candidate should have good computer skills (proficiency in advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and excellent oral and written communication skills.
