Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs invites application for the post of Public Prosecutor at NCB Headquarters, NCB Regional Offices/Zonal Offices, on deputation basis, including short-term contract (STC).

No. of Post: 21 (Twenty-One)
Pay Scale: PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) + Grade Pay of Rs.5400 (pre-revised) [Level-10, Rs.56,100- 1,77,500/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix]
Essential Qualification and Experience
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- With two years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the posts in Level-9 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
- With four years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-8 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
- Bachelor's degree in law from a recognized University with 07 years of practice as an Advocate in conducting criminal cases.
- Desirable: with 03 years' experience as Advocate in conducting NDPS cases.
