Essential Qualification and Experience

• Law Graduate/LL.B., with 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in contract review, drafting and negotiation experience;
• Knowledge of data protection (GDPR/CCPA), privacy and security terms.
• Understanding of compliance related concepts such as Independence, Conflicts.
• Experiences in drafting and negotiating IP terms in contracts.
• Prior working experience in the Australia or Singapore region is preferred.
• Strong communication and English language (verbal and written) skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiation, finalization and advisory on Government RFP responses, statements of compliance, issue lists, software resale, technology procurement agreements, liability mapping across agreements, client agreements, service agreements, framework agreements, (including client paper agreements, government RFPs, GTCs etc), consultancy agreements, local country agreements, and other ancillary documentation, ad-hoc projects providing risk management advice in relation to each of them.
• Act as point of contact for EY's business teams and support the legal team.
• Have a good understanding of general key business risks that need to be managed (training will be facilitated in respect of EY's specific risk management framework)
• Assist with trainings to new joiners and junior team members.
• Coordinating with internal specialist functions including Independence, onshore legal teams, Security, Privacy and Risk Management.
• Maintaining an understanding of the impact of changes in EY policies, organizational structure, and procedures.
