Name of the Post: Special Judicial Magistrate (Second Class)

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Who has held any post in Telangana Higher Judicial Services or State Judicial Services and retired or resign, OR
• Who has held a post in the Telangana Judicial Ministerial Service not below the rank of Superintendent of District Court or Senior Civil Judge or Junior Civil Judge's Court and has a Law Degree, OR
• Who has held a post of Section Officer and above in the High Court service and has a Law Degree, OR
• A non-practicing Advocate with a practice at the Bar of not less than five years and who is above 45 years of age should file a Certificate of voluntary suspension of practice issued by the Bar Counsel of State of Telangana, OR
• Any retired Gazetted Officer possessing Law Degree OR who has passed the Criminal Judicial Test (Full test consisting of the Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code) conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission and who has exercised Magisterial posers during his tenure or service for not less than three years. And who has at least one year to complete 65 years of age at the date fixed by the Court in the year of recruitment shall alone be eligible. Provided that a suitable retired Judicial Officer shall be preferred.
