Essential Qualification and Experience

• Officers under the Central/State Governments/ Union Territories: (a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis: or (ii) with 5 years regular service in post in the scale of Rs.5500-175-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent: and

• Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent with 7 years' experience in legal matters in a Central/State Government Department or Union Territory Administration; OR

• Should be a qualified legal practitioner who is an advocate or pleader and has practiced as such for a period of 4 years.
