S. Jalan & Co. Boosts Up Young Attorneys To Senior Positions

While announcing the Firm Promotions for FY24, the Firm has strategically strengthened its support talent including Associate Partners, Principal Associates, and Sr. Associates too. The new pool of talent will be further increasing the overall advisory and litigation streams in S Jalan & Co.

The promotions announcement mentions Snehasish Sen as Partner Litigation, Soumik Chakraborty, Abhishek Banerjee, and Parag Chaturvedi as Associate Partners, Ayan Sarkar as Principal Associate - Litigation, Shruti Tibrewal as Principal Associate - Documentation and Trishita Bera as Senior Associate, Banking & Finance.

Snehasish's experience includes majorly all types of commercial litigations and litigations before the High Courts, NCLT, and others. His area of practice also includes Commercial Arbitration.
Abhishek specializes in arbitration and has been at the forefront of multiple high-value construction & infrastructure arbitrations. He has also litigated varied suits and writ petitions across different courts including Calcutta High Court, National Company Law Tribunals as well as Debt Recovery Tribunals.
Parag's areas of practice include commercial arbitration and constitutional law. He handles infrastructure arbitrations before Quasi-Tribunal, High Courts as well as the Supreme Court.
Soumik's expertise includes majorly all types of Civil, Criminal litigations before the District Courts, High Courts, Debts Recovery Tribunal, and others. His area of practice also includes Consumer Forum, and Arbitration.
Ayan's primary area of practice encompasses a wide range of civil and criminal litigations. He represents clients before various courts such as District Courts, High Courts, Debts Recovery Tribunals, Consumer Forums, Central Industrial Tribunals, MSME Council, and other forums.
Shruti's primary area of practice involves real estate documentation and drafting, including mortgages, leases, trust deeds, township projects, and transaction financial documents for project finances. She has also been involved in matters before several Consumer Forums and the District Court at Kolkata.
Trishita is adept at areas such as High Court, District Courts, Customer Forums, Commercial courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals, and any other Tribunals.
Today the firm boasts of 9 Partners, and 3 Associate Partners with a total talent count of 75 attorneys and other staff executives including paralegal, etc across offices in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai & Hyderabad.
