    Sarthak Advocates & Solicitors has advised LegalPay, a New Delhi-based litigation funding startup to secure undisclosed seed funding from venture capital fund 9Unicorns. LegalPay is pioneering India's third-party litigation finance platform that helps entities/businesses ease the financial burden of litigation cases such as shareholder and intellectual property rights (IPR)-related disputes. It focuses mostly on late-stage cases or those that are nearing closure with a financial requirement of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 3.5 crore. Early-stage investor LetsVenture and Ambarish Gupta, founder of New York-based private equity fund Basis Vectors and founder of Knowlarity, also participated in the financing.

    The deal was led by the Managing Partner Abhishek Nath Tripathi along with Principal Associate Anubhav Tiwari, and Associate Narayan Gupta.

The Firm also implemented a pilot programme with EarthMiles for its workforce so that they could collaborate with each other in activities to improve physical and mental wellbeing
