National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, established in 2010, is recognized by the UGC and Bar Council of India. The university offers a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, research opportunities, and various diploma and postgraduate courses. With over 600 undergraduate students and global academic standards, NUSRL is a prominent member of CLAT and committed to excellence in legal education.
The University is having a full time and part time Ph.D. programme and also offering Executive Diploma in Child Rights & Child Protection, Mines & Minerals Law and P.G. Diploma in Tribal Law and Master in Law & Policy.
The Centre for Policies, Laws and Agenda (CPLAN) at the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL Ranchi), is inviting submissions for its 2nd National Blog Writing Competition. The theme for this year's edition is “Immigration & Refugee Law Reforms in India".
About the Competition
The questions of immigration and refugee protection stand at the heart of constitutional values, human rights, and global justice. In the Indian context, these issues are deeply intertwined with our democratic ethos, international obligations, and the need for comprehensive legal reform.
The 2nd National Blog Writing Competition on the theme “Immigration and Refugee Law Reforms in India” provides a platform for students and young scholars to critically engage with one of the most pressing challenges of our times. By encouraging accessible, research-based writing, this competition aims to foster informed debate, fresh perspectives, and meaningful dialogue on policy reforms that can shape a more just and inclusive legal framework.
NUSRL Ranchi aims to nurture professionals who combine legal expertise with a strong sense of social responsibility. This initiative provides participants with a platform to contribute to the ongoing discourse on immigration and refugee law reforms in India, while developing their skills in articulating complex legal concepts with clarity and precision.
Eligibility and Team Composition
The competition is open to all students and academicians from a recognised college or University. The team may comprise a maximum number of 2 members.

All interested teams who wish to register shall send the duly completed Registration form.

Single Author: INR 200 | Co-Authors: INR 300. (Maximum upto 2 authors are allowed).
