​Published since 2003, JILT is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal (ISSN: 2249-9989) included in the UGC CARE List. The journal seeks to promote systematic legal research and study through innovative, interdisciplinary approaches.

​Categories of Submissions

• ​Articles: 7,000–12,000 words

• ​Case Notes & Legislative Comments: 1,500–3,000 words

• ​Book Reviews: 1,500–3,000 words

​Key Guidelines

• ​Formatting: Submissions must be in MS Word format, Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.

• ​Citation Style: Bluebook (21st edition).

• ​Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts must be original and accompanied by a plagiarism report (similarity up to 10% permitted).

• ​Co-authorship: Permitted up to a maximum of 2 authors.
