Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is a prestigious legal education institution in India. Established in 2014, it operates as an autonomous law school, following the model of other National Law Universities in the country. The institution, situated in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai, is committed to promoting quality legal education in India and offers a conducive environment for learning and growth.

Jindal Global University (JGU) launched in 2009, introducing the first global law school in India, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). JGLS offers top-tier legal education with a global outlook, preparing students and faculty for the challenges of globalization. Through global collaborations and partnerships, JGLS provides access to valuable intellectual resources. JGU emphasises community engagement, social responsibility, and empowering students to address societal issues positively.

Centre for Women's Rights (CFWR) envisions an inclusive and equal society, where every woman will be able to live her life to the fullest potential, with freedom from want and freedom from fear, particularly of violence. The centre aims to advance interdisciplinary approaches to feminism in teaching, research and policy advocacy, contributing to broader legal discourse on social justice. It supports student initiatives and projects on gender and social justice, offering courses on Feminist Jurisprudence, Gender Law, Human Rights of Women, and Family Law. Staff members actively engage in research projects addressing gender-based violence in Haryana.

Gender shapes roles, expectations, and identities, fostering inclusivity and equality when embracing diverse gender identities. Technology, integral to our lives, interacts with gender, often perpetuating biases. AI, reliant on biased data, impacts credit decisions, vaccine distribution, and job applications, harming women's well-being and reinforcing stereotypes. However, technology has empowered gender equality as well. This summit will explore the gender-technology nexus through a virtual policy drafting and presentation and will delve into the pros and cons of this intersection of gender and technology.

This Summit is in collaboration with Jindal Global Law School and the Centre for Women's Rights. Amity University, Dubai is the Knowledge partner for the summit. Established in 2011, Amity University Dubai is a leading international university in the UAE and is part of a global brand. It is part of Amity Education Group, founded over 30 years ago with over 175,000 students, 85,000 alumni and 6,000 teaching faculty.
