    The Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad was established under Act No. VI of2014 by the State Legislature of Maharashtra. The University commenced its operation from March 16, 2017. The Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad being an institution of national repute has been fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the Marathwada Region. The University has its own 50 acres lush green campus situated in Kanchanwadi at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). By virtue of the Statute, the Chief Justice of India or his nominee is the Chancellor of the University, and the Chief Justice of High Court of Bombay is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.

    Presently, the University is offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the disciplines of Law, Management and Public Policy. The University imparts Postgraduate and Research Programmes with specializations in Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Commercial Laws, Finance, Human Resource Management, Medical Laws and Hospital Management etc. The University has also started various innovative courses with the blend of Law, Social Sciences and Management, Financial Services and Court Administration, Medical Laws and Hospital Management to strengthen the future prospectus and employability of the students. In addition to this, the University is also offering Doctoral (PhD.) and Post-Doctoral Research Programme in Law (LL.D.).

    The Centre for Public Law, MNLU-A was established in 2022 with an intent to disseminate thorough knowledge and to develop critical thinking of Public Law among students. Its objective is to expose the students to the changing facets of Public Law and to sharpen their skill sets required for their professional and personal development. Through Centre for Public Law, the institute provides a platform to discuss policies, schemes, legislations, judgments of the Court having great bearing on Public law, policy and governance. This exercise helps the students to understand social, legal and political dimensions of current policies.

    General Rules & Guidelines

    • The participation shall be on individual basis.
    • There is no limitation on the number of participations from one institute (i.e., multiple number of students can participate from one institute).
    • Participants shall report on the allotted time.
    • Participants are advised to be in formal attire. However, it would be appreciated to wear attire reserved for their constituency.
    • Participants are allowed to use bilingual mode of communication in their speech. (Hindi and English).
    • Portfolios would be allotted according to the previous experiences of each participant.
    • The Organising committee reserves the right to adopt suitable procedures and changes, if any are required and the decision of the EB would be final and conclusive. No grievance with respect to their decision will be entertained.
    • Participants creating any kind of indiscipline will be disqualified at the discretion of the judges.
    • Participants thereby should adhere to the rules and regulations of the event.

    Eligibility

    A bonafide, full-time student, who is enrolled in a degree programme in any College/University/ Institution, can register for “Bharat Ratna Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 2nd MNLU-A National Youth Parliament, 2024.”

    Registration & Procedure

    • Registration fee:
    1. For individual: INR 3,000 (Inclusive of food & accommodation)
    2. For group participation (10 participants): INR 27,000 (10% off)
    • Participants need to make the payment first on the link provided for Payment and then duly fill the Google form for Registration.

    • After successful Registration and Payment, the participants will receive a confirmation mail.
    • Duly registered participants will receive a link to join the group where all the updates and information will be provided.

    Accommodation & Food

    • Accommodation will be provided within the campus of the University from 19th January 2024 (6 pm onwards) to 22nd January 2024 (till 10.00 am).
    • Teams will have to make their own arrangements if they arrive before the mentioned period or stay beyond it. No arrangement shall be provided to any additional member of the team apart from the registered members.
    • Food will be provided in the current Mess facility. The meals would range from dinner on 19th January 2024 to Breakfast on 22nd January 2024.

    Note:

    • Boys and girls shall be provided separate accommodation.
    • No pick-up and drop facility shall be provided to any of the participants from the Airport/Bus station/ Railway station. Participants shall have to make their own arrangements for reaching the Campus.

    Miscellaneous

    • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to take any action against unethical, wrongful lor unprofessional conduct.
    • If there is any situation, not covered by the Rules, the decision of the Organizers shall be final and binding.
    • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the rules. However, due notice shall be provided to all participants.
    • The participants are always required to comply with the rules formulated by the Organizing Committee during the competition.
    • In case of any non-compliance with the rules of the competition, a penalty may be imposed and the participants may also be disqualified after they have been warned once.

    Campus Ambassador

    • The Campus Ambassador initiative enables applicants to play a crucial role in uniting debaters from across the country and demonstrating their leadership abilities.
    • To strengthen such leadership abilities organising committee is delighted to announce Campus Ambassador initiative Bharat Ratna Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 2nd MNLU-A National Youth Parliament, 2024 in their communities. In addition to other benefits, Campus Ambassadors will be honoured for their efforts with certificates.
    • The Campus Ambassador has to register with minimum 10 delegates.

    Advantages of Being a Campus Ambassador

    • All Campus Ambassadors registering ten or more delegates will be given following discounts:
    1. More than 10 participants: 25% discount on delegate fees
    2. More than 20 participants: 50% discount on delegate fees
    3. More than 25 participants: 100% discount on delegate fees with ₹100 off for all delegates registering through the Campus Ambassador.
    • The Campus Ambassador with the maximum number of delegates will receive an exclusive memento, be named the "Campus Ambassador to Bharat Ratna Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 2nd MNLU-A National Youth Parliament, 2024" and be recognised via a social media post of Bharat Ratna Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 2nd MNLU-A National Youth Parliament, 2024.
