NLU Odisha Invites Submissions For Short Film Making Competition On 'Campus Romance: Heartbeats And Heartbreak In The Hallways'

The Centre for Film Studies at National Law University Odisha has invited entries for its Short Film Making Competition, open to students enrolled in recognised higher education institutions across India.
The theme for the competition is “Campus Romance: Heartbeats and Heartbreak in the Hallways.” Participants are encouraged to explore romantic relationships, emotional connections, and interpersonal dynamics within a campus setting through cinematic storytelling. Interpretations may range from light-hearted narratives to serious or reflective perspectives related to student life and relationships.
Participants are required to submit an original short film with a duration of 5–10 minutes, including opening and end credits. Films may be made in any language, but films in languages other than English must include subtitles. Submissions must be made in MP4 or MOV format, with a minimum recommended resolution of 720p. Each entry must also include a 100–150 word synopsis submitted through the registration form.
The competition is open to individual participants as well as teams of two to three members. The registration fee is ₹300 for individual participation and ₹500 per group. Registration will be confirmed only upon successful payment and submission of the registration form.
