Participants will learn about types of construction claims, methods of delay analysis, and the critical importance of documentation and record-keeping in dispute management. A dedicated session on dispute resolution examines arbitration and its key procedural aspects is scheduled. The role of courts in granting interim relief and enforcement will also be discussed. Alternative mechanisms such as mediation and adjudication boards will be explored. The day culminates in a Final Cumulative Exercise, where participants apply their learning to a realistic scenario. This would involve identifying contractual and legal issues, analysing risk allocation, framing claims or responses, and proposing an appropriate dispute resolution strategy.
