    The GNLU Centre for Sports & Entertainment Law (GCSEL), in collaboration with LawNK Partners, is organising an Advanced Training Programme on “Interplay of Law & Commerce in Indian Sport” from 6-9 October 2026. The 16-hour programme, comprising eight sessions, is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the legal and commercial issues shaping India's rapidly professionalising sports ecosystem.

    The course will examine key areas of sports law practice, including sports law and governance, commercial leagues and event hosting, player rights, dispute resolution, media rights and news access, intellectual property protection and ambush marketing, sponsorship and endorsement rights, followed by a final course integration session.

    The sessions will be conducted by

    · Abhinav Shrivastava, Partner, LawNK Partners, and

    · Sanjay Ravi, Associate, LawNK Partners.

    The programme is open to third-year and above students of five-year integrated law programmes, second-year and above students of three-year law programmes, graduates, research scholars, and professionals. It will be conducted on campus for participants from Gujarat, with an online option available for outstation participants. The programme is limited to 50 seats.

    The course fee is ₹1,500 for GNLU students, ₹2,000 for other students, ₹2,500 for research scholars, and ₹4,000 for professionals, exclusive of GST. For further information, participants may contact gcsl@gnlu.ac.in
