    Hidayatullah National Law University in Raipur has launched the sixth edition of its Lex Osmose courses, building on the success of its previous five editions. It is scheduled to run from February 5th to March 31st, 2024, this edition offers a diverse array of six courses exploring interdisciplinary themes such as 'Law relating to Oil & Gas Sector,' 'Indian Patent Law,' 'Celebrity Personality Rights: India's Overlapping IPRs Conundrum,' 'RoboRules: The Contours of AI Law and Regulation,' and 'Cyber Laws, Cybercrime Investigation, and Digital Forensics.'

    The Lex Osmose initiative, introduced in 2020, provides customized single/double credit courses delivered by external faculty, including academics, advocates, policymakers, and policy wonks. These online courses, evaluated by instructors, offer certification (Non-CGPA) based on a minimum attendance requirement of the 14-hour program and successful completion of the evaluation. Each course accommodates a minimum of twenty-five and a maximum of fifty enrollees, with a cap of 10 students per course for non-HNLU students.

    This edition will witness the expertise of renowned academics and practitioners, including Mr. PVS Giridhar Senior Counsel at Madras High Court & Senior Partner in Girdhar and Sai Law Firm, Mr. TV Madhusudan, Professor (Ad Hoc) of HNLU & former Deputy Controller of Patents & Designs, Dr. KVK Santhy, Associate Professor, NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad, Ms. Aakanksha Kumar, Associate Professor, Jindal Global Law School), and Dr. Krishna Deo Singh Chouhan, Associate Professor, Jindal Global Law School), will serve as instructors for this edition.

    Ms.Garima Panwar, Faculty of HNLU is the Convenor of this edition of Lex Osmose.

    This online course is open to students pursuing LL.B./B.L./Equivalent Degree courses and LL.M. courses. The 16-hour course spans 4-5 weeks, taking place during evenings on working days and daytime on holidays, with sessions lasting 120 minutes and a ten-minute break, approximately twice a week. 'Lex Osmose' is free of charge, with no enrollment fees.
