    The WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters / LL.M. Programme in Intellectual Property Law & Management

    The Joint Masters / LL.M. Programme in Intellectual Property Law & Management (JML), is a flagship Programme offered in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Office of the Controller-General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks / Indian Intellectual Property Office (IPO).

    The third cohort of the one-year Joint Masters / LL.M. Programme in Intellectual Property Law & Management (JML) will run from August 2026 through June 2027.

    - The Programme is run on a unique dual track - a Masters in Law (LL.M.) and a Masters in Arts (M.A.) - catering to candidates from legal and non-legal backgrounds.

    - The Programme features curriculum design and course content curated by NLUD, WIPO and IPO and delivered by distinguished invited faculty from India and around the world.

    - The Programme is grounded in a multi-disciplinary integration of intellectual property law and management and offers unparalleled exposure to global best practices in the domains of intellectual property law, practice and policy.

    About the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP)

    The Post-Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) at National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is a first-of-its-kind, future-oriented postgraduate programme focused on insolvency, corporate rescue, restructuring, and liquidation. Launched in partnership with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), the programme is designed to develop skilled insolvency professionals with strong legal, financial, and commercial expertise.

    The two-year interdisciplinary programme integrates law, finance, economics, and regulatory practice, reflecting the practical realities of the insolvency ecosystem under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).

    Programme Highlights

    ● IBBI-authorised PGIP Certification, along with a separate MA / LL.M. degree in Insolvency awarded by NLUD.

    ● Two-year programme comprising one year of residential academics and one year of professional traineeship.

    ● Academic pathway to insolvency practice, reducing the IBC professional experience requirement from 10–15 years to 2 years, as per applicable regulations.

    ● Interdisciplinary curriculum covering law, finance, economics, and insolvency regulation.

    ● Practice-oriented pedagogy with case-based learning and real-world application.

    ● Open to law graduates, CAs, CSs, economists, engineers, and management professionals.
