    HNLU has recently launched the HNLU Academic Assistance and Internship Program (HAAI) for its students and other law institutes. HAAI program expects to generate personal and professional benefits to students by involving them in academic activities and internship with a full-time faculty member at HNLU. HAAI reflects the collaborative spirit between the faculty members and students at HNLU. The program shall encompass various types of academic activities.

    Prof.(Dr.) V.C.Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU said, " The HAAI programme will provide multiple avenues to students to hone their skills of teaching, research and advocacy and will also accommodate select non-HNLU candidates in Internship and Research Assistance"

    The program has three components namely, Teaching Assistance, Research Assistance and Internship. The Teaching Assistance Program will be launched in the month of January 2023 wherein senior students from 4th & 5th years of UG and students of LL.M. Program will assist full-time faculty members at HNLU with pre-defined academic activities. At present, applications are being invited for the Teaching Assistance Program.

    The Research Assistance Program will be launched in the month of May 2023 where in any student enrolled in a law course at any recognized university can assist a faculty member of HNLU for research work relating to research publication, minor / major research project.

    Student Internship Program tentatively scheduled to be launched in the month of July 2023 will provide internship opportunity to any student enrolled in a recognized course at any recognized university and can intern with a faculty member or in the library or other sections at HNLU for a specified period as decided by the University.

    Dr.Vipan Kumar, Associate Professor and Dean at HNLU along with Ms.Anita Singh, faculty& Assistant Registrar were instrumental in designing the HAAI project.
