About the Institute

The Institute of Law, Nirma University (ILNU), one of the best law private law institutes, was established in the year 2007. ILNU focuses on bringing about a paradigm shift in the delivery of legal education in the country. It aims to add newer dimensions in legal education to incorporate international standards and provide an environment for innovation and dynamic scholarship. Embodying the principles of justice education, excellence, and professionalism, ILNU imparts quality legal education which has produced new generation lawyers, leaders, and policymakers over the years.

Postgraduate Programme

3. LL.M. (One Year) Programme

Up to 15% of the total intake is likely to be filled-in under NRI/NRI Sponsored category.

Over and above the approved intake, 15% supernumerary seats will be for Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Foreign Nationals (FN) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries-South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA). The application procedure and detailed information regarding eligibility for admission under FN/PIO/CIWGC-SEA category will be separately notified by the University.

Application Fees & Mode of Application

Application Fees (General Category)	INR 2500
Application Fees for NRI and NRI Sponsored	INR 3500/- (Candidates applying to NRI / NRI Sponsored category would also be considered under general category subject to fulfilment of basic eligibility criteria).
Mode of Application	There is only one mode of application, i.e., ONLINE. The candidates have to fill up the ILNU application forms separately at https://law.nirmauni.ac.in. The online application can be accessed by a candidate by registering self by creating a LOGIN ACCOUNT.

Eligibility Criteria

Five-year Integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hon.) and B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.)

For General, NRI / NRI Sponsored, General and NRI Sponsored Category

• A candidate should have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate Examinations (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with not less than 45% aggregate marks.
• Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2023 are also eligible for applying to the Institute. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission eligibility criteria.
• Candidates applying to the Institute must have obtained the required qualification i.e. (10+2) results by the date of declaration of ILNU merit.
• The eligibility for the age criteria will be same as prescribed by the CLAT 2023 Authority.
• Admission is based on the inter se All India merit rank of CLAT 2023.
• Candidates must fill CLAT 2023 application form before filling in ILNU Application Form.

LL.M. (One year) Programme

Ø A candidate should have successfully passed, three years LL.B. programme after graduation or five years Integrated Law Degree Programme as recognized by the Bar Council of India with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Ø Those who have appeared in aforementioned exam and the result is awaited can apply for this programme. However, admission will be subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Admission/Selection Process

• Admission is based on the inter se All India merit rank of CLAT 2023.
• Candidates must fill CLAT 2023 application form before filling in ILNU Application Form.
• Eligible candidates will be invited for a counselling session at the Institute for admission based on their CLAT 2023 merit list that will be prepared by the Institute.
