Indian Mediation Week (IMW), India's largest student-run Access to Justice campaign organised by Sama, is calling for Student Ambassadors for its 10th edition. The movement began in 2017 when a group of law students at NUJS Kolkata walked out of campus with pamphlets to talk to strangers about mediation, and has since grown into a nationwide campaign spanning 100+ cities.
This edition, running from November 2026 to February 2027, invites law students (pursuing 3/5-year LLB or LLM courses) across India to lead mediation awareness drives in their own cities, build and lead their own volunteer teams, and gain real leadership experience through structured training and mentorship.
The program is completely free to apply for and comes with a prize pool of ₹1.8 Lakh+, including monthly and final cash rewards for top-performing ambassadors, along with certificates and the opportunity to be felicitated at IMW's national closing ceremony, with travel and stay sponsored by Sama.
Application Deadline: October 20, 2026
Program Duration: November 2026 – February 2027
