HNLU Introduces- Vice Chancellor's Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme VC(MS)2

The Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur has launched the Vice Chancellor's Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme. The Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged but meritorious students of UG & PG courses of the University. The scheme will provide scholarship to the tune of 50 % of the annual fees to a total of 24 students of II to V Year of B.A., LL.B. (Hons) and 6 students of LL.M. every year for the second semester.
Speaking about the scheme, Prof. (Dr.) V.C. Vivekanandan, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, HNLU said"this scheme will ensure that students who are admitted through a comptetive entrance exam do not discontinue for want of financial help. The University is earmarking about 30 lakhs per annum under this scheme and will scale further based on the availability of finance. The University also plans to create a corpus under the VC(MS)2scheme from donors to the University".
The scheme will be rolled out from January 2023 and the previous two semesters will be benchmarked for the selection. The eligibility details of the scheme will be circulated amongst the students shortly.
