MNLU Mumbai Holds 4th Convocation At Ravindra Natya Mandir, Degrees Conferred On Graduating Students

Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai celebrated its fourth convocation at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The ceremony commenced at 10:00 AM and brought together dignitaries, graduating students, faculty, and families to mark the conferral of degrees.
The programme began with the National Anthem, followed by a welcome address and presentation of the University's report by Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Ukey, Vice-Chancellor, MNLU Mumbai, who highlighted the institution's academic achievements, research contributions, and growth over the past year.
The convocation was graced by Justice Alok Aradhe, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Chancellor of MNLU Mumbai, who delivered the convocation address. Other dignitaries included Justice Bharati Dangre and Justice Sandeep Marne, Judges of the Bombay High Court; Dr. Milind Sathe, Advocate General of Maharashtra; Prof. (Dr.) R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor of India International University of Legal Education and Research (IIULER), Goa; and Prof. (Dr.) Pravina Khobragade of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar School of Law, RTM Nagpur University.
Degrees were conferred on students across programmes, including 3 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees, 133 postgraduate degrees, and 119 undergraduate BA LLB (Hons) degrees. Medals were awarded to the top three performers in recognition of academic excellence and contributions to the university.
In his address, Justice Alok Aradhe emphasised the importance of constitutional morality and urged students to serve society with empathy, honesty, and integrity. He noted that education equips individuals with essential skills, while real-world exposure refines knowledge through experience.
Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Ukey reflected on the institutional vision and the journey of the graduating students, highlighting the role of various centres at MNLU Mumbai in promoting academic excellence.
University officials, including the Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and Assistant Registrars, were also present at the ceremony.
