    Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University (RPNLU), Prayagraj delivered a stellar performance at Tarkshetra, the prestigious inter-university conclave hosted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) from 25 to 28 December 2025, securing top honours in multiple categories and bringing laurels to the University.

    Tarkshetra witnessed the participation of nearly 450 delegates from leading universities and institutions across the country, offering a vibrant platform for debate, dialogue, and deliberation on pressing national and global issues. Amidst intense competition and high academic standards, students of RPNLU distinguished themselves through exceptional analytical depth, persuasive articulation, and disciplined preparation, earning widespread appreciation and awards.

    Representing the University with distinction, Ms. Anushka Singh was conferred the Best Delegate Award in the 'United Nations General Assembly – DISEC Committee'. Her performance was marked by clarity of thought, rigorous research, and a strong command over issues relating to international security and disarmament. Demonstrating a nuanced understanding of diplomacy and global governance, she emerged as a standout performer among a highly competitive pool of delegates.

    Further adding to the University's success, Mr. Ayush Trigun secured the prestigious title of Vivek Samrat in the 'Dharmkshetra Committee', an honour that recognises intellectual sharpness, ethical reasoning, and persuasive discourse rooted in Indian philosophical traditions. His achievement reflected a rare synthesis of classical wisdom and contemporary legal reasoning, earning appreciation from both peers and adjudicators.

    The commendable performances of the students were the outcome of the academic leadership and guidance of the Vice-Chancellor- Sr. Prof. (Dr.) Usha Tandon and sustained mentorship under Dr. Neha Dubey, Faculty Convener, the Debate and Discussion Club, RPNLU. The Club's emphasis on research-driven training, critical engagement with diverse viewpoints, and disciplined practice has enabled students to excel at national platforms.

    The achievement at Tarkshetra not only highlights individual excellence but also underscores RPNLU Prayagraj's steady rise as a hub of intellectual vibrancy and academic competitiveness. Through consistent encouragement of student participation in debates, moot courts, conferences, and policy-oriented discussions, the University continues to foster a culture of fearless inquiry, informed dialogue, and holistic legal education.
