  • Tiranga March Marks 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav At RGNUL, Punjab

    The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab organised Tiranga March on 12th August 2022 and activities to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75th Indian Independence iconic week (8-14 August 2022).

    Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL; Dr. Sidharth Dahiya, Deputy Registrar; Prof. Naresh Kumar Vats, Dean Academics; Prof. Rakesh Mohan Sharma, Advisor, Forensic Divison; Dr. Navleen Multani, Assistant Professor in English and Public Relation Officer; Dr. Arjun, Coordinator NCC; Faculty members, Non-teaching staff and students participated in Tiranga March at RGNUL campus. The campus reverberated with slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram.

    During the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav iconic week Public Relations and Department of English, RGNUL organized activities to invigorate patriotic fervour in students. RGNUL students contributed self-composed poems, posters and digital collages on unsung heroes, freedom fighters, partition events and glorious history of India.

    In the words of Sh. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav means elixir of energy of independence; elixir of inspirations of the warriors of freedom struggle; elixir of new ideas and pledges; and elixir of Aatmanirbharta. Therefore, this Mahotsav is a festival of awakening of the nation; festival of fulfilling the dream of good governance; and the festival of global peace and development."

    Prof. G.S. Bajpai will hoist the National Flag on 15th August 2022.
