    National Law University Odisha is organizing the 4th Sailabala Pujari Memorial Public Lecture on Constitutional Vision of Justice and Role of Judiciary in India. The lecture will be delivered by Justice (Retd.) Indira Banerjee, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India.

    The memorial lecture is organised in the memory of Smt. Sailabala Pujari, the first woman legal practitioner and Assistant Public Prosecutor of western Odisha. Ms. Pujari has worked extensively on issues relating to child rights, gender, anti -liquor movement and has more than fifty books on social and legal subjects to her credit, including a book series promoting legal literacy of common man.
