NUJS Kolkata: 16th Edition INVICTA 2024 And 6th Edition Of Para-INVICTA 2024 [16th-18th February 2024]

NUJS is one of the premier law schools in the country in terms of rankings. We are one of the three privileged institutions in the country to have the Chief Justice of India as our Chancellor. The Institution has attained its position of excellence through holistic promotion of academic excellence, intellectual discipline and professional leadership. An important component of the same is sports and the due emphasis placed on 'excellence via inclusion'.

INVICTA

The sports festival of NUJS, hosts a dazzling array of events across categories at several sprawling venues. The events include football, badminton, volleyball, athletics, cricket, chess, pool, foosball, computer gaming and many more. INVICTA is the largest law school sports festival in the nation. The events will be hosted on the premises of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Salt Lake Stadium, the Bengal Tennis Association Club, other stadiums in Salt Lake City and the NUJS campus in Salt Lake City.

PARA-INVICTA

Para-Invicta is the sports initiative for students with disabilities from colleges, schools, NGOs and other similar establishments across the country. Unlike INVICTA, Para-INVICTA is not restricted to law colleges and experiences participation from colleges across all fields of study. Para-INVICTA being a virtuous and noble-minded initiative run by the University does not charge any amount from the para-athletes and cover all costs for them. This includes transportation, accommodation, food and gifts. This has aided in making the fest more inclusive. Via Para- Invicta aims to take a strong step towards the goal of 'sports without barriers'.
