About the Conference

The International Conference aims to reconnect Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) with contemporary law, political theory, and economics. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to examine classical Indian traditions such as Mimamsa, Nyaya, Arthashastra, and Dharmashastra and explore their relevance to modern governance, constitutionalism, legal interpretation, and public policy. The conference will be held in hybrid mode on 24–25 September 2026.

Who Can Submit

Academicians, post-doctoral fellows, Ph.D. scholars, research scholars, lawyers, policy professionals, practitioners, LLM and LLB students, researchers from political science, economics, philosophy, public policy, and anyone interested in Indian Knowledge Systems.

How to Submit

Submit the full paper in .doc format through the prescribed Google Form. Email submissions or submissions through any other mode will not be accepted.

Submission Categories

Professionals/Academicians/Post-Doctoral Researchers; Ph.D. Scholars; Postgraduate Students; Undergraduate Students; Joint authorship categories (Academician with Ph.D. Scholar and Academician with UG/PG Student).

Submission Guidelines

• Paper must be in English.
• Word limit: 3,000–6,000 words (including references and footnotes).
• Abstract: Maximum 300 words with up to five keywords.
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt (text), 14 pt (headings), single spacing.
• Citation style: APA 7th Edition.
• Maximum two authors.
• Similarity index below 10%; plagiarism or unacknowledged AI-generated content will lead to disqualification.
• Only accepted papers may be presented and considered for publication.

• Professionals – ₹1,500 (sole), ₹2,500 (Co-author)
• Ph.D. Scholars – ₹1,000 (sole), ₹1,500 (Co-author)
• UG/PG Students – ₹750 (sole), ₹1,200 (Co-author)
• Academician + Ph.D. Scholar – ₹2,000
• Academician + UG/PG Student – ₹1,700

Foreign Participants:
• Professionals – USD 20 (sole), USD 30 (Co-author)

General Instructions

• Registration fee is payable only after acceptance of the paper.
• Participants attending offline must arrange their own travel and accommodation.
• Certificates will be issued to presenters.
• Selected papers may be published in the CHRIST University Law Journal, conference proceedings, or an edited ISBN volume after editorial review.
