National Conference On “50 Years Of The Constitutional Dissent: Revisiting Justice H.R. Khanna's Legacy”

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat, in collaboration with National Law University, Delhi; Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj; Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh; Law Centre-II, University of Delhi; and the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, is organising a National Conference on 30 July 2026 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Justice H.R. Khanna's landmark dissent in ADM Jabalpur v. Shivkant Shukla. The conference will bring together judges, academicians, practitioners, researchers, and students to engage with contemporary issues of constitutionalism, civil liberties, judicial independence, emergency powers, privacy, and the rule of law through keynote lectures, panel discussions, and paper presentations.
