    The Allahabad High Court has resolved to continue the order for suspension of regular court work in both the High Court as well as the courts Subordinate to it.

    In a meeting of the Administrative Committee of the High Court, conducted at 11am on May 2 via video conferencing, it has been resolved that in lieu of this period, the High Court will remain open during the period of summer vacation in the month of June.

    The period of summer vacation has been restricted between June 22 and June 26, 2020.

    It is noteworthy however that the Committee has not modified the summer vacation for the Subordinate or Commercial Courts in the state.

    "Resolved not to make any change in the approved calendar 2020 for use in the Courts Subordinate to the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad," read the Minutes of the Meeting.

    The meeting was convened in the (virtual) presence of Chief Justice Govind Mathur and Justices PK Jaiswal, Bharati Sapru, Pankaj Mithal, Shashi Kant Gupta, Bala Krishna Narayana, Bachchoo Lal and Dinesh Kumar Singh-I.
