Union Government Re-Appoints ASGs To Four High Courts

The Central Government has reappointed four law officers as Additional Solicitor General of India (ASGI) for four High Courts.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the re-appointment of following Law Officers as ASGI:
- Chetan Sharma has been re-appointed as ASGI at Delhi High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.
- Satya Pal Jain has been re-appointed as ASGI at Punjab & Haryana High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.
- Devang Girish Vyas has been re-appointed as ASGI at Gujarat High Court w.e.f from June 30, 2023.
- Dr. Krishna Nandan Singh has been re-appointed as ASGI at Patna High Court w.e.f from July 1, 2023.
The appointments shall be valid for a term of three years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, according to the government notification.
