The Delhi Bar Council has strongly condemned the terror attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama.

The council, in its resolution, said that the 'ghostly and cowardice' terror attack is part of deep rooted conspiracy to destabilize India and to disturb peace and tranquility. The members of the Council, in the meeting held on Friday, observed two minutes silence as a tribute to the martyred Jawans.

The council expressed great anguish at the silence of 'Amnesty International' and said that their conduct is highly deplorable. It also added that the attack of this magnitude was not possible without active involvement of Pakistan's ISI.

"The council expresses its deep condolences at the demise of our soldiers and salutes them and pray to God to give strength to family members to bear this national loss. The council also prays for speedy recovery of injured personnel." the resolution reads.

Earlier, paying his homage to CRPF Jawans martyred in Pulwama attack, Senior Advocate Yatin N.Oza offered to bear expenses of a girl child of one CRPF Martyr. Also, Senior advocate Rajdeepak Rastogi, Additional Solicitor General of India for Rajasthan said he is going to sponsor the education of two kids of any two CRPF martyrs.

Over 40 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir when a Jaish suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama district.
