Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi University to declare results for all the postgraduate programmes by the end of October.

The Division Bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad has further directed the University to ensure that the results and the marksheets are uploaded online on the University's website and no student is forced to physically come and collect the same.

The Delhi University has to ensure that the online marksheet does not carry any rider or footnote which suggests that the said marksheet requires any further verification.

'Marksheet download from the website shall be usable for all the purposes', the court said.

In addition to this, the court has directed the University to declare the results for all the undergraduate programmes, both honours and programme courses, maximum within 3 days from the tentative dates set by the University for declaration of results.

Most of these tentative dates, as per the University's affidavit, lie between 20th to 31st October.

In light of these directions, the court has decided to no longer monitor the present petitions filed by Prateek Sharma and National Federation of Blind concerning the online OBE conducted by the Delhi University.

The court, however, has clarified that the question of law stated in these petitions shall remain open.
