    Justice Subhashan Reddy, 76, passed away today morning at Hyderabad.     Justice Subhashan Reddy, 76, passed away today morning at Hyderabad. 

    He was a judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh and later served as Chief Justices of High Courts of Kerala and Madras.

    He was the Chairperson on the AP State Human Rights Commission and also acted as the Lok Ayuktha after retirement.

    He was born at Bagh Amberpet in Hyderabad Urban Taluk on 2-03-1943, and educated at Sultan Bazar and Chadarghat High Schools, Hyderabad, New Science College and Osmania University College of Science, University College of Law, Osmania University.

    He enrolled as Advocate on 10-01-1966 and started practice in all branches of law, Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, Revenue and Taxation Laws.

    He was appointed as Judge of the Andhra High Court on 25-11-1991. On 12-09-2001, he was elevated as Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Madras and was transferred to High Court of Kerala on 21-11-2004.
