    Keeping in view the imposition of a national lockdown, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has deferred all orders relating to inter-district transfer of judicial officers in the state.

    The court has directed that the Judicial transfers notified by it on March 19 and 20 will be kept in abeyance and thus, judicial officers under transfer will not move until further orders.

    Vide an order issued by the Registrar General on Friday, it has been directed that "all Transfer Orders relating to General Transfer Exercise of Judicial Officers on 19.03.2020 and 20.03.2020 shall remain deferred until further orders. Accordingly, all Judicial Officers who are under transfer vide High Court order dated 19.03.2020 and 20.03.2020 shall not move pursuant to the aforesaid orders."

    A copy of the order has been supplied to all District & Sessions Judges, Principal Judges and Additional Principal Judges and all judicial officers under transfer, for compliance.
