    The Centre has confirmed the appointment of nine advocates as judges of the Delhi High Court, taking it's working strength to 44.In this regard, the law minister Kiren Rijiju has tweeted:"In exercise of the power conferred under the Constitution of India, the following Advocates are appointed as Judges of Delhi High Court. I extend best wishes to all of them."The following are the names:-...

    The Centre has confirmed the appointment of nine advocates as judges of the Delhi High Court, taking it's working strength to 44.

    In this regard, the law minister Kiren Rijiju has tweeted:

    The following are the names:

    - Ms. Tara Vitasta Ganju

    - Smt. Mini Pushkarna

    - Mr. Vikas Mahajan

    - Mr. Tushar Rao Gedela

    - Smt. Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora

    - Mr. Sachin Datta

    - Mr. Amit Mahajan

    - Mr. Gaurang Kanth

    - Mr. Saurabh Banerjee 

    Delhi High Court is currently functioning with a working strength of 35 judges as against the sanctioned strength of 60.

    The names of Advocates Tara Vitasta Ganju and Mini Pushkarna were recommended by the Supreme Court collegium in the year 2020. Whereas, the names of other seven advocates were recommended recently in the Supreme Court collegium meeting held on May 4.
