    National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore has once again topped the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) rating of top law schools in the country.

    National Law University, Delhi, National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) Hyderabad, and Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur are ranked second, third, and fourth respectively in the list prepared by NIRF, which is under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.


    National Law University, Jodhpur is at the fifth position and  West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) Kolkata is ranked sixth.

    Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is placed seventh.

    Faculty of Law, Jamia Milia Islamia; Symbiosis Law School, Pune; and Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala are the other institutes in the top ten.
