A public interest litigation has been moved in the Delhi High Court seeking legal or departmental enquiry against those persons who are fraudulently using printouts with the word 'Judge' pasted on their vehicles.

The plea moved by Advocate Sanser Pal Singh argues that use of such printouts and fraudulently obtained stickers is a security threat as such vehicles are not stopped for frisking by security staff.

The plea also seeks action against judicial officers of Delhi District courts who had obtained judge vehicle parking sticker violating the 2018 guidelines. It also seeks direction that all such judicial officers obtain and use judge vehicle parking sticker complying with the said guidelines.

"The Petitioner has no other alternative but to knock the doors of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of guidelines to be passed to all judicial officers of Delhi courts subordinate to this hon'ble court to obtain judge vehicle parking sticker only by complying guidelines contained in circular dated 11.09.2018 issued by office of respondent no. 2 if they wish to obtain it," the plea adds.

The plea states that obtaining and using judge car parking sticker by the persons who are neither judge nor have any authority to such sticker is a very serious scenario.

The plea is likely to be listed next week.
