    Special Lok Adalats were organized on August 6, 2022, & August 7, 2022, in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh, and over 2000 pending arbitration matters were disposed of. It was organized under the direction of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal who is also the Patron-in-Chief of the Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority.

    The Special Lok Adalats were organized under the guidance of Justice Pritinker Diwakar, Judge, Allahabad High Court/ Executive Chairman, Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority & Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chairman Special Arrear Committee, High Court Allahabad for the disposal of matters related to the Arbitration Act 1914 and the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996.

    All the District Judges were earlier directed to dispose of the maximum number of matters.

    As per the information received from all the districts of Uttar Pradesh, a total of 19057 cases were identified and 2218 cases were disposed of in the Special Lok Adalats conducted related to Arbitration Matters.
