Arvind Kejriwal's Remand Hearing, ED Seeks 10 Days Custody : Live Updates

Raju hands over to the court a copy of Senthil Balaji case judgment of the Supreme Court.

Raju: As far as sub section 2 is concerned which requires sending to the adjudicating authority the sealed envelope copy of the order of arrest... We have complied.

Raju: we have complied with section 19 of PMLA. His relatives have been informed. Copy of remand application given. Grounds of arrest furnished to Mr. Kejriwal in writing.

ED seeks 10 days of custody for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in excise policy case. 

Raju: The accused was arrested at 9:05 PM in the night. He is produced within 24 hours. We have given an application for remand for 10 days of custody.

Hossain: Can I seek a short recess for 5 minutes so that Mr. Raju can be here?

Hossain: He is here. But the barricades downstairs. The cops are not allowing the entry.
