    The Supreme Court Advocates On Record Assocation has announced that the Advocate-On-Record (AoR) Examination, scheduled for the month of June has been deferred.

    Accordingly, members were informed regarding the said development via SMS which stated, 

    "Dear Members,

    We wish to inform you that the AOR exams normally scheduled for the month of June has been deferred as of now. We will keep you informed as and when the AOR exams are notified.

    Live Law contacted Mr. Shivaji M. Jadhav, President of SCAORA & Mr.Joseph Aristotle S., Secratary and they confirmed the deferment.

    "The Registrar General of the Supreme Court has confirmed the development in light of the Coronavirus outbreak" Added Mr. Jadhav.

    The AoR Examination is held every year in June  & is regulated by a Board of Examiners (regulated by the Supreme Court). The AoR Examination is divided into four individual papers; Drafting, Practice & Procedure, Legal Ethics & Leading Cases. It is held every year in the month of June.
